Founding Full Stack Engineer

The Opportunity
As a key member of our engineering team, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our core software platform. You’ll work on both front-end and back-end components, contributing to the full development lifecycle and driving improvements based on customer feedback.

Who You Are

You’re a builder at heart. You enjoy solving problems end-to-end—whether that means sketching out a product idea, writing clean, efficient code, or debugging something messy in production. You care about shipping quickly but thoughtfully, and you're motivated by seeing your work make a real impact.

You Might Be a Fit If:

• You’ve got real-world experience. You’ve spent 4+ years building full-stack applications that are used in production. You’re comfortable working across the stack and know how to make good tradeoffs between speed, scalability, and simplicity.
• You speak modern web fluently. Whether it’s React on the front-end or Node.js/Python on the back-end, you know how to architect and build reliable systems. Bonus if you’ve worked with relational databases like Postgres or MySQL.
• You’re pragmatic with tools. You’re not dogmatic about tech—if something needs to get done, you’ll reach for whatever tool works best, even if that means spinning up a quick CLI tool or writing a script to automate a task.
• You care about the “why.” You want to understand the problem before jumping into the solution. You’re comfortable working closely with product and customers to make sure we’re building the right thing, not just building things right.
• You’re calm under pressure. You’ve seen enough bugs, edge cases, and surprises to know that shipping software is never perfect—but you know how to debug, iterate, and keep things moving.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end software solutions, including both front-end and back-end components.
• Contribute to building and scaling our core APIs and customer facing products.
• Continuously improve our development processes, ensuring clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot and debug software defects and performance issues.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning, and apply them to enhance our product.
• Work closely with the team and other stakeholders to ensure that we’re delivering the best possible experience to our users.

• Have experience working at an early-stage startup and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Have experience with AI technologies, especially in financial services or wealth management.
• Keep up with the latest trends in software development and are eager to apply new knowledge.
